Supernatural: Complete First Season [DVD] [Import] タイトル通り、超常現象をベースにそれと戦う兄弟の姿を描いた大ヒットTVドラマのファーストシーズン。
発端や付帯するストーリーは進行しているが、基本的には各エピソード完結式で飽きずに楽しめる。
先にUS盤のサード･シーズンがリリースされ日本語吹き替え・字幕が収録されていたが、こちらのファースト･シーズンも同仕様。
再生機の初期設定で日本を選択している場合、日本盤と同じ仕様となる。
今回のBD版は、サードシーズンから変更になった吹き替えキャストバージョンも新収録。
DVDの旧ver.(成宮寛貴&井上聡ver.)の吹き替えが苦手で途中で視聴を止めていたので、これは嬉しい。

テレビシリーズとしては上々のクリアな映像。
冷たさを感じさせる控えめな色調が、精細感に繋がる印象を受ける。
時折、背景に独特の粒子が散見されるシーンはある。
作品の性質上、闇や陰影表現も多く、場合によっては暗部の潰れやもやけを感じるが、全体的には大きな癖がなく観易いHD画質。スキップして先に視聴したサード･シーズンに比べるとやや落ちる印象はある。

音声は英語がDD5.1ch、日本語は両バージョンともDD2.0ch。今回は日本語2.0chで視聴。
映画の様な重低音はないが、ロッシーながら高音には鋭さがあり、TVドラマとしては充分。
アンプ側で拡張させれば臨場感もまずまず。

特典は、欠かせないＮＧ集、未公開シーン集、メイキングなどを収録。
これだけの話数が4枚とコンパクトに収められ、この価格はかなり満足度が高い。

パーカションがカルロス管野１人なのが少し淋しいけど総勢１０人の迫力は満足でした

それにしても最近の松岡直也ＤＶＤは￥２８００くらいで入手可能なのが凄く嬉しい

オークションの中古出品を待たなくても買える値段だから生産完了の廃盤になる前に新品でどうぞ
