スイッチング回路やトランス等の電気部品について詳しく説明しています。
特に、導体の表皮効果や近接効果による高周波抵抗の増大現象は、
省電力化設計には見逃せない事象なので、参考になりました。
平易な英語で書かれており、英語の勉強も兼ねて手元に置きたい一冊です。
普段は車のﾊﾞｯﾃﾘｰ上がりに備えて車載していますが、家庭用電源が停電したときはインバータをつなげば非常用電源としても使えそうです。８WのLEDライト（蛍光灯２０Wくらいの明るさがあり）だと満充電からだと２０時間くらいは点灯できる計算です。
